Every year Universal Orlando has a weekend with a line up of amazing Christian artist! It was Sara Katherine’s Birthday weekend and this is what she chose to do! We only had a few days to squeeze it in between cheer practices but it was an incredible weekend!
Winter blues have set in and it is time to plan something fun for 2025! Prices for travel usually are at their lowest prices the farther you book out or if you are flexible last minute can sometimes be amazing prices for cruises!
January has flown by! Mardi Gras break is almost here! Spring Break and Summer will be here soon!
What are people booking? Everything! Mostly Cruises and all inclusive resorts! Epic Universe in Orlando is opening in June! Walt Disney World has some great promos!

We have had a busy year so this was our first trip to UOR this year! Booking last minute most all resorts were booked up! We usually prefer staying at the premier resorts but this trip we stayed at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.
We had a major flight delay, so when we arrived we were just ready to shower and go to bed! When you first enter the resort you notice the smell! It smells amazing! We got checked in very quickly and we were off to get a few hours of sleep before we started our day!
Friday morning we had a VIP tour scheduled at 9:30. With about 3 hours of sleep we got up and got ready to go! We chose to walk to the park instead of taking the boat. We can usually walk faster than waiting for the boat. When we arrived at Universal Studios we checked in at the VIP desk and entered the park there instead of with the crowd.
First stop was Breakfast. Breakfast was great! They had a buffet that was very good with plenty of drink options. We also had bottles of water on the table to take with us.
After breakfast it was time to get to the rides!

We walked up every exit and never waiting for any of the rides! It was pretty cool for every ride but especially Hagrid’s! Anyone who has ever ridden it knows what that wait is like!
The tour was such a great experience! Sam, our guide, was great! We stopped several times to see some neat things behind the scenes! We love knowing how things work and the history of the parks! I would highly recommend and I would do it again!

We had a short getaway to Universal over New Years weekend. We stayed at Portofino Bay! Love getting the express passes with our room!
The weather was beautiful all weekend! We had so much fun! Parks were busy but manageable. The express pass is amazing! We rode everything we wanted to ride and some more than once!
Favorite restaurants this trip: Finnegan’s , Confisco, and Thunder Falls were the best!
Favorite snacks this time were the Butterbeer ice cream and crepes! Crepes are always one of our favorites!
